THANK YOU!!
Thanks to everyone who made our Community Quiz Bowl evening such a success!
Thanks go out to all our teams and sponsors, especially Maple Mountain Woodworks for their matching contributions to all the money raised on Saturday evening. Thank you to Jay Nichols, our sartorial and scintillating emcee for the evening. Special thanks to Doug Mac Donald of Richford High School for lending us the Quiz Bowl buzzer system, that made the evening that much more fun. Thanks to Mr. Dean Howarth who has been a long time and generous supporter of the Arvin A. Brown Library, for providing additional historical information, upon which many of the local questions were based.
And a big thanks and round of applause to the trustees of the library: Jeanne Backhaus, Patty Lambert, Jerrie Barkley, Patti Lariviere and particularly Annette Goyne – whose idea this was. Without all their hard work and effort it would not have been the success that it was. I am pleased and proud we are a team together.
