The Arvin A. Brown Derby Day Fundraiser has crossed the finish line………..
……….And everyone is a winner!
We would like to thank all who made our first Derby Day Silent Auction Fundraiser such a grand success. If it were not for the support of so many businesses, authors, artists, and generous individuals, the evening would not have been possible. We would like to thank everyone who donated items and gift certificates and all those who worked so hard to contribute to the wonderful atmosphere of the evening, especially the Richford Country Club for allowing us to host the event there. Thank you to everyone who attended the event. We appreciate the fact that so many share our belief in the library’s importance and relevance as an essential public resource. Your commitment to helping our community is sincerely appreciated.
We raised over $2,500 that evening. The funds will be used to update and expand our collection and bring new programs to the library. The evening was a huge success and all those attending had fun while helping to support the library. We look forward to hosting this event again next year.
