Don’t want to wait for the total solar eclipse of 2024 to see features on the sun? Come the the Missisquoi Overlook on Main St. in Richford and view the Sun through a Coronado Hydrogen Alpha Telescope with a local astronomer. It is perfectly safe to view the Sun through it and you may see gas jets (prominences) shooting out from the side of the Sun. Also, sunspots, filaments, and more.
Cloud date: September 23–same time, same place.
