JOIN US ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 16th at 10:00 a.m at the Richford Town Hall for a talk about the WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE. ALL AGES WELCOME!

The speaker is DAN SEELEY who has a BS in Physics from MIT and a PhD in Physics and Astronomy from Boston University.  He has formerly taught Physics and Astronomy and has worked at the National Solar Observatory at Sunspot, NM.

The Webb telescope’s revolutionary technology will explore every phase of cosmic history – from within our solar system to the most distant observable galaxies in the early universe, and everything in between. Webb will reveal new and unexpected discoveries, and help humankind understand the origins of the universe and our place in it.  NASA plans to launch the James Webb Space Telescope into orbit December 18, 2021, to serve as the premier deep space observatory for the next decade.
