……….And everyone is a winner!

We would like to thank all who made our first Derby Day Silent Auction Fundraiser such a grand success. If it were not for the support of so many businesses, authors, artists, and generous individuals, the evening would not have been possible. 13147834_10153824270609272_3577242236056982669_oWe would like to thank everyone who donated items and gift certificates and all those who worked so hard to contribute to the wonderful atmosphere of the evening, especially the Richford Country Club for allowing us to host the event there. Thank you to everyone who attended the event. We appreciate the fact that so many share our belief in the library’s importance and relevance as an essential public resource. Your commitment to helping our community is sincerely appreciated.

13086706_10153824289154272_2353404584648383370_oWe raised over $2,500 that evening. The funds will be used to update and expand our collection and bring new programs to the library. The evening was a huge success and all those attending had fun while helping to support the library. We look forward to hosting this event again next year.

Many of our items came from Richford and surrounding communities, others came from across Vermont, as well as beyond our borders. Our thanks go out to these generous donors:
