Basic Internet Skills -
Thursday April 19th at the High School – 6:00 – 7:30 PM
This workshop will review basic computer skills needed to access the Internet, as well as basic Internet search skills. No computer experience is necessary. The workshop will not cover specific software applications, like word processing and spreadsheets, but it will address participants’ questions and interests as much as time permits.
Social Media & Communication Tools for Beginners

This workshop will review some of the most popular social media resources, including Facebook, Twitter, various blogging tools, and video tools like Skype. You’ll learn how to use these tools to share information and keep in touch with family and friends.

The Internet is a wonderful source of information and communication, but it also presents risks. Learn how to use Internet resources safely and protect yourself and your family from scams and schemes that can compromise your personal and financial information.

Valentine’s Day Stuffed Animal Sleepover at the Library!
Drop off and register your stuffed animal friends at the library on Friday February 10, between 3 and 5 PM.
They will spend the night at the library listening to stories, playing games and probably staying up very late!
Pick them up Saturday morning February 11 at 10:30 AM and see pictures of their antics, enjoy a story and breakfast snack!
STUFFED ANIMAL SLEEPOVER RULES:
• Only one furry friend per person please
• Open to all ages!
• Please make sure you can sleep without your stuffed animal for the night!
• You must pick them up on Saturday 2/11 before 1 PM.
