  • The Arvin A. Brown Library has over 14,000 books including a collection of Large Print,  audiobooks on CD and Playaways.

  • We also have many popular magazine titles. 

  • We have an extensive collection of DVDs for adults and children.

  • Our children’s room features a children’s table with small and large chairs, 2 AWE Early Literacy Stations  and themed backpacks with book, CD, and puppet, puzzle or educational toy.  Themed totes and bags with books, toys, puppets and puzzles are also available to check out.

  • We also have current juvenile fiction and non-fiction sections and a collection of titles for Young Adults.

  • Passes available for reduced or free admission to Vermont State Parks, St. Albans City Pool, Vermont Historic Sites, the Old Stone House Museum, ECO,  and the St. Albans Museum.
